What You will Learn:

Coaching in the workplace is proving to be a skill that many leaders are adopting to uncover hidden potential in their teams and develop not only more successful and empowered relationships, but also drive productivity and goal achievement. Coaching allows for the development of an “above the line” culture in the workplace where individual accountability, responsibility and problem solving are the norm.

At the conclusion of this workshop participants will be able to:

Understand the benefits of a coaching culture in the workplace
Recognise what coaching is and what it is not.
Move from a telling and directing approach to a coaching approach that engages and motivates people.
More proactively manage challenging conversations and workplace conflicts using a coaching framework
Provide effective feedback with positive intent
Build effective relationships with their team.

Recognise what coaching is (and what it is not)
Know the right time to coach.
Understand the coaching process
Use of listening and questions
Reframing to be above the line to support positive culture.
Use and practice the GROW model for growth
Set goals for your team to maximise performance and outcomes
Use coaching to enhance team relationships
Managing challenging conversations and providing performance feedback with a coaching approach to allow for win/win outcomes.
How to address mindset and barriers for individuals/team
Using coaching skills to manage performance and change/adversity

Michelle is a highly experienced Psychologist, Trainer/Facilitator and International Coach Federation accredited Coach with more than 25 years of experience. Her expertise ranges from facilitating workplace wellness training and organisation wellbeing strategy, to personal and leadership coaching to organisational development and leadership training programs. Combining qualifications in Psychology, Organisational Coaching and Leadership, Michelle has insight into the motivators for behaviour and what influences well-being.
