Empowered Breathwork
Event description
The breath has been utilised for thousands of years, too access altered states of consciousness and maintain excellent health.
We can adjust our physiology/body with different breathing techniques and tap deeply into ourselves, as well as bring to the surface suppressed traumas and experiences we a hold within the body and that affect our lives, by creating new perspectives on life events that need to change. Healing begins when we can look at events with a clearer understanding and vision.
In this mixed workshop (open to men and women) I will show you some techniques for overall health and then hold space for you to dive within, using the breath to access the deeper parts of yourself that lie within, waiting to be looked at, processed and healed.
As well as looking at past experiences held in the body, it is common to connect deeply with the quiet, all knowing part of yourself that is really who and what you are...a sense of peace and calm that we all crave, search for and long to feel, is available to experience, using breath as the medium to touch this state of being.
What to bring: something to lie on (yoga mat or blanket) , a blanket to keep you warm, water and a journal(optional)
