Empowering a Blockchain Revolution: Web3 in the West - WAusDeFi Association

You are warmly invited to the 5th - and Christmas! - meetup for the WA Chapter of the Australian DeFi Association. 

The theme is: “Empowering a Blockchain Revolution: Web3 in the West”.

The format involves a panel, popcorn conversation and a provocation with our Perth community. Our panelists are Alex Rose (Bulb), Hannah Pham (Arbela) and Phil Lewis (Empowa NFT) with Kat Dunn, WA Chapter Lead for Aus Defi Association as facilitator.

We will also hear from our generous sponsor Jeff Bowman of JB Hub and Dacxi.

The panelists from our awesome community are invited to share “What does a blockchain revolution mean to you?”, "Why web3, why you, why now?" and "Why did you think WA would be fertile ground for web3 adoption?". 

In addition to the panelists, guests are also invited to speak to these questions, in a "popcorn" style format, in the spirit of fostering deeper meaningful connections.

Instead of "What?" this event asks us "Why?". 

We can’t go past this provocation: "After the recent implosions of Luna and FTX is DeFi actually just a centralised system in DeFi branding, or is it legitimately different? And why?". 

Finally, we part with this prompt: "What is something you love most about web3? And what’s one thing you wish web3 and our community had more of?"

It is an invitation to existing and new members of the WAusDeFi community.
