Empowering Communities Through Education, Leadership and Service

Vahideh Hosseini brings extensive experience in education, community development, emergency management and cross-cultural leadership across Australia, Timor-Leste and India. At Unital University in Timor-Leste, she helped guide the university through accreditation, taught students to read and communicate in English, and is now supporting graduates to establish schools in remote villages.

Vahideh also spent 17 years in senior Australian Red Cross management roles, leading regional teams, community programs and the recruitment and training of 1,200 Emergency Services volunteers. Her work has included disaster response, aged care, youth empowerment, school breakfast clubs, refugee support and education for peace.
