Become a powerful leader by learning the art of empowerment through the science of delegation.
Learn how to be a good leader by empowering your team through delegating.
This one-day deep dive course will introduce you to the relational leadership approach and one of its foundations – empowerment for team performance. You will discover what it means to become a relational leader who seeks to bring about change in an organisation, the community and society at large – all through your relationships with others.
What will you gain?
You will be helped to:
- Understand the role empowerment and delegation plays in effective relational leadership;
- Share ideas on how empowerment contributes to retaining talent and building teams;
- Formulate your own personal steps to delegating and sharing the load effectively;
- Identify potential psychological barriers that may inhibit you from delegating work to others; and
- Design strategies for delegating work remotely and building quality team processes.
Course Structure
This is a dialogue-based one-day course that leverages the knowledge that participants bring to the topic of empowerment and delegation as foundations in building team performance.
An assumption is made that leadership effectiveness is determined by the relationships a participant has with those who can help them bring about important outcomes.
A think-write-share discussion format, supported by evidence from the experts in the field of management and psychology, will be used during the course.
