Great for getting started and leaning what to look for and draw when you are travelling too!

Plein air drawing materials list…
This list is for a day of drawing research and fun. The works you do on the day may become finished artworks, however the aim is to connect with the urban landscape, observe, notice what inspires you and make drawings.
Basic supplies…
- 4B pencil and sharpener
- Cartridge pad and or sketchbook (size of your choice, board and bulldog clips to put on if you don’t want to draw in your lap)
- Artline pen, small brush, larger black marker or sharpie, small bottle of water.
- Hat, drinking water, sunscreen.
If possible, you may want to bring a portable chair.
Optional extras…
- Black or sepia ink
- Fountain pen
- Watercolour or gouache kit
- Larger drawing brush
- Small portable palette
- If wanting to work bigger - larger watercolour paper, board, clips and easel
