Event description

Join us as we toast an incredible inaugural year of Fruit Share Adelaide and celebrate the festive season in the beautiful Oaklands Park Reserve!

We're excited to announce we've moved our end-of-year celebration to this fantastic location to make it more accessible and cost-free for everyone.

Fruit Share Adelaide is a charity that harvests excess fruit from trees across Adelaide and the Hills to redistribute to those in need. We've harvested over 10,000 kg so far in 2024, with most of this going to help feed those in need.

This celebration is our way of thanking our amazing volunteers, generous fruit donors, and supportive community partners. We invite you to join us for a relaxed afternoon picnic filled with festive cheer and reflection on our achievements.

What to Expect:

  • BYO picnic to share with fellow volunteers and supporters
  • Inspiring stories from volunteers and beneficiaries
  • Networking with like-minded sustainability enthusiasts
  • Raffle prizes
  • Family-friendly outdoor fun including bike tracks and an adventure playground

This is a free event - our gift to our wonderful community of supporters. Please bring a picnic blanket or camping chair, and feel free to pack some treats to share!

Finding Us:

  • Look for our group near the adventure playground
  • Plenty of parking available in the car park
  • The reserve offers great amenities for families with bike tracks and playground equipment to keep children entertained

Together, we're building a more sustainable and equitable Adelaide, one piece of fruit at a time!

We look forward to celebrating with you and reflecting on our fruitful year under the summer sky!
