We are honoured that Rachael Coopes, award-winning playwright, author, Play School Presenter, speaker, actor, MC and yoga & mindfulness educator will be our amazing special guest at the Mama Creatives end of year gathering!
She will share the creative process that brought her to write her new book The Art of Forgiveness, which explores a range of philosophies – from the Stoics to Zen Buddhism – sharing how to properly let go and find peace.
Combining personal stories and advice mixed with solid, expert-based research, anecdotal evidence and case studies, The Art of Forgiveness is a compassionate guide underpinned by sensible philosophies to help you live a calmer, happier life.

About Rachael Coopes
Rachael is an award-winning playwright, author, Play School Presenter, speaker, actor, MC and yoga & mindfulness educator on Gadigal land.
In her 30-year career she has written, produced and performed in film, television and theatre in Australia, the UK and the US. She’s danced on the Play School stage for thousands of ecstatic toddlers, starred in many of Australia’s most-loved series, developed engaging television for kids, and written award-winning theatre for the complex brains of teenagers.
Rachael has shared the movement and philosophy of yoga with stressed out urbanites, explored the incredible stories of young people in the remote Northern Territory, and used the creative to inspire and educate leaders in the corporate space.
With decades of storytelling in many forms under her belt, she has now published two books- FIND YOUR STRENGTH which brings the powerful tools and wisdom of ancient practices to the modern world, and PARIS FOR BEGINNERS which recounts her experiences in Paris going to Clown school. Her third book THE ART OF FORGIVENESS, explores forgiveness from many perspectives. With decades of study, practice, teaching, and storytelling, she’s eternally grateful for this path and her teachers.

About Our Venue: The Bellevue Hotel
We will be hosting this incredible event upstairs at The Bellevue hotel. Come a bit earlier and enjoy dinner and drinks in this lovely light filled space. The menu offers a range of excellent tasty pub classics, including $20 burgers on Tuesday night, with Happy Hour from 5pm – 7 pm. Forget making dinner, bring a friend or your mama posse for a perfect night out.
