This event is organised by Renew's Sydney Branch, and kindly supported by Inner West Council. 

Please note that this is a hybrid event. You can book tickets to either view the discussion online or attend in person. Doors will open at 6:00 pm and the presentation / webinar will begin at 6:30pm.



‘Are you renting and have high energy bills, or does your rental get too cold or too hot? Are you a landlord that would like to make your rental properties more efficient? This talk will give you all the info you need!’

  • We will discuss lots of great tips to save energy, reduce your power bill and make where you live more comfortable

Speaker:

Graham Hunt has been an architect for 40 years and a NatHERS thermal performance assessor for well over 24 years. A member of Australian Building Sustainability Association (ABSA) since its foundation. He undertook QA audits for ABSA from 2013 till 2023. Graham has represented the Australian Institute of Architects (AIA) on numerous federal government committees around energy efficiency and thermal comfort ratings. Graham was until recently chair of the AIA National Residential Sustainability Advisory Group. He is also a longtime member of Renew, the local Sydney branch convenor and is currently Board Secretary.

  • Details on how to get to the Ashfield Civic Centre and accessibility 
  • Find us in activity Room 3, Upper Ground Floor of the Ashfield Civic Centre. 
  • The Ashfield Civic Centre is traditionally known as Ashfield Town Hall is at 260 Liverpool Rd Ashfield. It is very conveniently located. It is only a 3-minute walk from Ashfield Station via Hercules St. There is plenty of free parking next door in Ashfield Mall accessible from Holden St. There are also lots of buses that travel along Liverpool Rd stopping right out the front – routes 406,418, 480, 483 & 491.
