Home Energy Efficiency Planning Session

Join us to kick off the Home Energy Empowerment Program with a hands-on 1.5-hour workshop where we’ll run through the entire process of planning a range of upgrades for your home that will help make it more comfortable and energy efficient, year around.

We’ll start at the start – thinking about where you are coming from, where you want to go, and any factors that might play a role in your planning (budget, skills, circumstances, etc).

We’ll then talk through each aspect of your building shell (draughts, insulation, windows) and help you gather information about the strengths and weaknesses of each of these factors. Next, we’ll identify your major fixed appliances, research their age and performance and consider whether solar is right for you.

Finally, we’ll talk through how to determine where to start, what resources you can use, and any financial help you might be eligible for, to help achieve your goals.
