Event description

Would you like to have a warm, healthy home and reduce your power bills?

In this event you'll learn about three key things you can do in your home/ rental property to keep it warm, dry and healthy. Some of these things can be done at no cost yet they will have a noticeable effect on the warmth of your home and in most cases help reduce your power bills.

You'll also hear about some amazing services available through Community Energy Action. For example, up to 100% subsidy for insulation for low income homeowners if the house was built before 2008. And the Curtain Bank - a service which provides good quality donated second hand curtains to households for a gold coin donation.

We'll even have some great give-aways for you that support a more energy efficient home.

Our facilitator is Michael Begg, a qualified Energy Advisor with over 30 years experience assisting homeowners and tenants to improve their quality of life by living in warm, dry, energy efficient homes. After his presentation (about an hour) you will have the opportunity to ask him any energy efficiency related questions.

Come along to this free session and get some great tips to save power and save $$!

This event & the give-aways at it are proudly sponsored by our local lines company EA Networks.

Please note the same event is offered at the later time; 5.15 - 6.45. If that time suits you better, register here.
