Energy Help Desk Training Session
Event description
What to expect:
This session is for anyone interested in top tips and advice on how to reduce your energy bills and help others do the same. This session is open to everyone, no experience is necessary.
If you're interested in getting involved as a volunteer with us (Bristol Energy Network) to provide energy advice and support to those at risk of fuel poverty, then this will be a very useful session to attend. However, there is no pressure to join us as a volunteer, and if you're just interested in what you can do in your own home to reduce your energy bills then that is totally fine and we would love to see you.
Our "Energy Help Desk" service is an outreach stall that we run in areas across Bristol to reach people at risk of fuel poverty so that we can offer guidance, advice, support, and signposting.
Free food will be provided on the day (vegan curry and rice).
Location:
We'll be in the Cook Room at the Greenway Centre, Doncaster Road, Bristol, BS10 5PY. If you're unsure of where the room is, just ask at the reception desk when you arrive.
Accessibility:
We are committed to ensuring that everyone can attend and participate in this session. If you have any accessibility needs or requirements, please let us know in advance, and we will do our best to make any reasonable adjustments to accommodate you.
Please contact Faith from Bristol Energy Network if you have any accessibility needs or questions: faith@bristolenergynetwork.org.
