Engineer Your Business Endgame

Reverse-engineer the business you're building from the life you actually want.

Most business planning starts in the wrong place.

We set a revenue goal. Plan the next launch. Decide we need more clients, a bigger audience, another team member.

But rarely do we stop and ask: What am I actually building all of this towards?

In this free live workshop, SPARK founder Danielle Lewis will introduce Business Endgame Engineering, a practical way to reverse-engineer the business you're building from the life you actually want.

Together, we'll work through five steps:

DESIGN | Define what you actually want your life and work to look like.

NUMBER | Put some numbers around what that future requires, including your Endgame Number, with 7 days' free access to SPARK's Endgame AI tool.

CHOOSE | Decide the role your business needs to play in getting you there.

ENGINEER | Identify what needs to be true of your business to deliver it.

ACT | Work backwards to what matters now.

  • Maybe you want to build a business you can eventually sell.

  • Maybe you want to own it without running it.

  • Maybe you want to use business profits to build wealth outside your business until work becomes optional.

  • Or maybe you want a deliberately small, beautifully profitable business that funds a life you love.

There is no right Endgame. But different Endgames require different businesses.

You'll leave with greater clarity on what you're actually building towards, the job your business needs to do to get you there, and the priorities that deserve your attention now.

No vision boards. No generic definition of success.

Just a practical framework for building your business on purpose.

My Business Endgame Story

This is my fourth business.

Over the past 15+ years, I've built businesses, raised millions in investment, generated millions in revenue, managed teams, answered to boards and shareholders and experienced three very different business endings.

And here's the funny thing: Not one of those endings was an Endgame I'd actually designed.

One business I was convinced to walk away from. One I made the incredibly difficult decision to close. And one ended in a cash sale of the brand and IP.

I spent years building businesses, chasing growth and solving whatever problem was directly in front of me, without ever really stopping to ask: What am I actually building all of this for?

When I eventually stepped away from my previous business, I looked up at 38 and realised that despite everything I'd built on paper, personally I had no savings, no super, no real financial security and no plan for what came next.

That was a turning point.

With my fourth business, SPARK, I'm building very differently.

For the first time in my career, I started with the life I wanted the business to help create. I got clear on what financial freedom looks like for me, the role I want my business to play in creating it, and the wealth I want to build outside the business along the way.

Then I started working backwards.

Today, I make regular investments toward my Endgame, intentionally build assets outside my business, and use that longer-term destination to help decide what deserves my time, money and attention inside the business now.

And here's what I've come to believe: An exit isn't an Endgame. Revenue isn't an Endgame. Even building a wildly successful business isn't necessarily an Endgame.

Your Endgame is what you ultimately want all this work to make possible.

Yours might be selling your business.

It might be owning it without running it.

It might be extracting profits and building enough wealth outside your business that work becomes optional.

Or it might be keeping your business deliberately small, beautifully profitable and perfectly designed around the life you want.

There is no right Endgame.

But there is enormous power in choosing yours before you spend another decade building towards someone else's definition of success.

That's the thinking behind Engineer Your Business Endgame.

In this workshop, I'll help you start working backwards from yours.
