Event description

Join us at this webinar session, where Dr. Yolanda Hanusch - Sustainable Agricultural Facilitator - NRM South, will explore the realm of flower-feeding insects and their crucial role in agricultural production and healthy environments.  Drawing on her extensive research at the University of Sydney, Yolanda will share insights on different flower-feeding insects found at market-gardens and apple/blueberry orchards of Tasmania. During the webinar, you will learn

- which pollinators are attracted to crops grown in Tasmania

- what management strategies can be used to support pollinators and natural pest enemies

- ways to enhance both ecosystem (pollination/natural pest control) and overall biodiversity services

We will send out ZOOM link via email following registration.
