Event description

West Hume Landcare invites you to hear and see Ash Paech’s experience trialling biological farming techniques to enhance soil biology. Three speakers: David Hardwick (Soil Land Food), John Barton (Carbon Rich) and Courtney Young (Soils For Life) will also share their expertise & practical knowledge with us.

Topics include:

·        Soil biology & how it impacts your soil & plants

·        Measuring healthy soils

·        Developing diverse, abundant soil biology & impact of chemicals &

·        fertilisers

·        Cover crops, mixed species vs monoculture pastures and crops

·        Implementing a farming system for soil health
