Talks exploring the Universe as well as stargazing with Mt Stromlo Observatory and the Canberra Astronomical Society will occur (weather permitting).
Mt Stromlo is a dark site, so please bring a torch.
Follow the guidance of traffic marshals who will direct you to parking.
Stargazing will run continuously from 8:30 -10:30pm.
You do not need to be there at 8:30pm - you won't miss out!
The stargazing portion is weather dependant.
Telescopes will be located near three white domes. Follow the signs and directions to red lights which will be next to the telescopes. The line is just to enter the domes. There are also plenty of telescopes outside looking at different objects.
