We are delighted to offer an exclusive Giraffe feed as part of Enlighten: Beyond Presents Wild Night Zooventure at the National Zoo and Aquarium

The experience includes:

A motorised* tour to see the animals (naturally!)
‘African Sundowners’ during the tour - a stop in front of the animals with a snack and soft drinks – right out of Africa!
Scenic ‘Hayride’ for the kids. While parents enjoy a relaxing drink, a guide will take the younger guests on a tractor ride (parents can accompany them if desired).
Evening picnic dinner with our Rhinos
Beer, wines and soft drinks included

*Combination of motorised travel with some walking. All vehicles have their own guide/driver.

As not all animals are out and about in the evening and we won’t be covering the whole zoo, we have other activities to make the night a real adventure!
However, expect to see the following:
Rhino, Zebra, Cheetah, Dingo, Deer, Elk, Giraffe, Ostrich, Meerkats, Monkeys, Koala, Tree Kangaroos & Wallabies.

Wrapping up around 8pm, the experience leaves you ample time to explore the rest of the Enlighten activities.

You are welcome to take photos of our beautiful animals! We ask that there is no flash photography throughout the zoo.

Minimum Ages
Minimum age for the Wild Night ZooVenture experience is 2 years old. Parents may bring their own child seat or we can provide one. Spaces for children in this age group are limited.

Weather Cancellations
For your comfort, tours may be postponed to another date at late notice due to heavy rain, as some vehicles are open-sided.

In the event of cancellation, guests will be contacted by staff at the earliest possible opportunity.

If the tour is cancelled prior to commencing, an alternate date can be selected or a full credit voucher will be given to book the tour at a later date or a full refund given.

If the tour needs to be cancelled after it has begun, then the dinner, African Sundowners and drinks will proceed and a proportionate credit voucher or refund will be issued for the section of the tour not completed.

This credit voucher will be for a dollar amount and can be used for tours, encounters, admission, gift shop and food outlet purchases.
