This webinar will support professionals to understand how long-term health conditions can impact on children and young people’s education. We’ll also talk about how this relates to additional support for learning laws and guidance in Scotland.
Beth and Lisa from Enquire will be joined by Ally from the Teapot Trust, who provide art therapy to children and young people living with long term health conditions across the UK.
We will explore:
- children’s rights to support at school in Scotland,
- how long term health conditions can impact on learning,
- what professionals in and around schools can do to support children with long term health conditions.
This session is aimed at professionals working with children and young people in Scotland.
