ECC, together with preferred suppliers Buddle Findlay, have developed a comprehensive Enrolment Agreement and Enrolment Advisory, available exclusively to members. This work was undertaken to assist service providers set up an enrolment scheme that provides clarity around cancelling enrolments, how to deal with ongoing absences of children with subsequent funding loss, unpaid fees, and other issues.
The ECC Enrolment Agreement and Advisory Webinar Series – exclusive to ECC members only - will show service providers the options they have, explain legal rights and obligations, offer expert advice on funding rules and support, as well as insights into fee management practice.
Our webinar series includes:
Part One: Starting Out Right with Enrolment Agreement (Wednesday 19 June): Detailing the importance of getting the terms of enrolment agreements right, including contractual obligations. Presented by Simon Laube and Katina Beauchamp.
Part Two: Funding Support, Charging Fees and Managing Absences (Wednesday 3 July): Covering the financial support available for parents, managing child absences (Frequent and Continuous Absence Rule) and the role of optional charges and donations. Presented by Simon Laube.
Part Three: Fee Payment Practice and Financial Management (Wednesday 17 July): This webinar will cover setting a centre’s Fees Policy and Fee Schedule, managing and charging for absences, and supporting parents with funding and fee payment practices. Presented by Simon Laube and Sue Kurtovich.
