All you need is a dream! PURE IMAGINATION is a 15 minute showcase of our Collective ensemble, and what they’ve explored throughout the year. Centring on the importance of play and the power of imagination, we invite you to step into a world where you can build anything, be anyone, and DO anything If you put your mind to it. Through original scenes and a series of songs we all know and love, PURE IMAGINATION showcases Collective developing skills in collaboration, creation, and performance, and reminds us all of the power of letting our imagination run wild.

ENSEMBLE SHOWCASES: WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A FRIEND

WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A FRIEND is a revue-style showcase for our Craft and Company ensembles, ages 12-18. Exploring different kinds of relationships, the good and the bad, WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A FRIEND is a 60 minute look at the challenges and triumphs of connecting with others as a teenager. With pieces ranging from the 1920s to our present day, Craft and Company reflect on the importance of friendship through history, and showcase their musical and dramatic skills through songs, monologues, and dance.

ABOUT OUR ENSEMBLES

Home to three levels of ensembles - COLLECTIVE (12 and Under), CRAFT (13-15) and COMPANY (16-18), Wild Heart’s Ensembles follow our unique artist development model for artists 18 and under, including weekly workshops in specialist areas, guest speaker sessions, and curated initiatives created in tandem with attendees, all with the goal of creating the future leaders of the creative industries - today.
