Event description
Haven is proud to present Entasia & Kara Okay. Uptempo euphoric 90s inspired hard house and trance featured in one of the most uniquely designed club spaces in Australia. These two UK/European took the European summer by storm and are set to do the same here in Aus. Jai Piccone on opening duties!
Entasia is a Liverpool-born, Melbourne-based DJ and producer bringing a fresh twist to the golden era of ’90s dance music. His sound is fast, fun, and full of feeling – blending nostalgic synths, breakbeats, and trancey euphoria with a slick, modern edge. It’s a style that’s turning heads across the scene, with his tracks lighting up huge festivals across the globe
Kara Okay is an Amsterdam-based DJ and producer known for creating euphoric, uptempo tracks that blend \'90s trance, piano melodies, vocals, and old-school sounds with raw UK club energy. His sets are described as a journey through warm progressive vibes, shifting into hard house and high-energy closers.
Haven positions itself as a high-quality temporary venue where people can celebrate music and connect with their community before the building is inevitably redeveloped. The entire space is built entirely with salvaged materials; a nod to the space's transient nature. The impermanence of the space becomes part of its power, building urgency and turning each night of unique programming into a rarity.
The venues story is also shaped by the history of the building. An old Woolworths site now being transformed into a venue for culture. By doing this we are turning the commercial into the cultural and embodying our grassroots communal spirit. Pairing one of Australia's most ambitious venue fit outs by Buckworth & Co, with an incredible Danley Sound Labs system; setup with upmost care by Hugo at Sound is Everything, light design by Tony Funicello and an incredible array of artists we cannot wait to share our vision with you all.

Aidan Knox
Hailing from the ever-charming Byron Bay, we’re excited to feature Aidan Knox.
While the coast is often synonymous with minimal and stripped-back Italo disco and house, Aidan brings a refreshing dynamism to his sound. Drawing from elements of 2000s-inspired trance and Balearic-infused techno, seamlessly blended with piano-driven house, this mix exudes a flair that’s rarely heard from a local selector.
Aidan’s fresh approach is sure to keep your ears hooked. With new music on the horizon, we’re confident his productions will continue to reflect his prowess as a tastemaker.
