Enter the Field - With Glennos House and Oaktree Blossom
Event description
STEP INTO A DIFFERENT KIND OF CREATIVE EVENING.
Where you will create artistic visuals while responding to sound without sight.
On arrival you’ll be guided into the space with a brief meditation and warm up creative prompts to quiet the mind and open perception.
THEN DURING TIMED ROUNDS OF CREATING, WE’LL DIM THE LIGHTS, REMOVING SIGHT, AND BEGIN THE HEART OF THE EXPERIENCE:
DJ OAKTREE BLOSSOM WILL UNFOLD AN EXPERIMENTAL MUSIC SET
while you respond to the soundscape using oil pastels, pencils and other art materials. Without seeing what you’re making, you’ll tap into intuition, rhythm, and internal movement.
AFTER EACH ROUND, THE LIGHTS WILL RETURN AND REVEALED TO YOU WILL BE YOUR VISUAL RESPONSE:
a conversation between your moving hands and the music that influenced them.
