The entrepreneur skillset: generalist superpowers with Milly Tamati
Event description
This virtual workshop is focused on recognising how squiggly (rather than linear) paths are a valuable asset in entrepreneurship and traditional careers. The session includes tactical advice and case studies from the Generalist World community. By the end of the session you should be inspired to lean into and leverage your generalist skills and nature.
As part of Young Change Agents' Digital Boss program, in partnership with Victorian Government for Jobs, Precincts and Regions, we are opening up a special workshop with entrepreneur Milly Tamati! Milly will help you value your skillset, and share her experience building a digital business.
About Milly
Milly is the founder and "Chief Generalist" of Generalist World, the launchpad and online community for generalists. She has travelled to 65+ countries, lived everywhere from the fast-paced streets of Manila to the serene jungles of Mexico, and now resides on a little island in the Scottish Highlands.
Before the age of 30 she has co-owned a hostel in Thailand, co-founded a wine-tour in Australia, and founded an illustration agency in the UK. She is a creative generalist who's well versed in start-up life and is excited to share her knowledge with the Digital Boss cohort - and everyone else who attends this amazing workshop.Â
Everyone is welcome. Places are limited. Grab your ticket now.

About Digital Boss VIC
We created Digital Boss VIC to help young Victorians between the ages of 18-25 learn how to develop a business model, create an MVP (minimum viable product), find first customers, and bring a digital product or service to life. Digital skills could be anything- from photography, graphic design, content creation, videography (including TikTok), social media management, web development, drone pilots, or something else entirely!
Throughout this program students have joined an exclusive cohort of up to other aspiring entrepreneurs and have been guided by our team of experienced facilitators and mentors in an in-person deep dive, fortnightly workshops and e-learning resources to get their business ideas up and running, or to take them to the next level!
