This introductory workshop will help you plan and prepare your entrepreneurial career path. You will learn about your own predisposition to entrepreneurship and common pitfalls to avoid. Plus it will cover a range of tools, strategies and tips to set yourself up for success. The content is designed for any woman in business interested in adopting practical, applicable tools for staying physically and mentally fit while navigating the complex world of work and business.
This topic covers:
- Business opportunities, customer needs and wants
- Assessing external and internal environments
- Identifying business models and strategies
- Developing entrepreneurial marketing
- Assessing and nurturing an entrepreneurial mindset - overcoming stigma and building confidence
- Understanding social entrepreneurship and innovation
This session is aimed at women who are, or thinking of becoming, a small business owner. It will also be of interest to those who more generally wish to grow their entrepreneurial mindset.
The facilitator of this topic is Edith Cowan University. ECU's Executive Education Team at the School of Business and Law is dedicated to proving impactful workshops tailored to help small businesses in Western Australia thrive through sustainable growth. Their workshop content has been developed in consultation with industry experts and university resources to equip you with the skills to succeed.
