Still unsure about next steps after finishing your course — or what mentoring is actually going to involve?

Every newly-graduated mortgage broker is required by the MFAA and FBAA to complete formal mentoring during their first two years in the industry. It's a mandatory part of meeting your aggregator's compliance obligations, but it's also one of the most valuable things you'll do for your career — the right mentor can save you from costly mistakes and fast-track how quickly you build confidence with real clients.

We host a free information session on the first Tuesday of every month at 12pm to help you understand exactly what's involved before you commit.

In this session you'll:

• Meet Stephanie (Steph) Carello, founder of Lune Finance and an approved FBAA mentor with nine years' experience in lending at one of Australia's top mortgage brokerages

• Get a clear rundown of what the Entry Mentoring program covers, including the 8-week workshop intensive and the 24 months of ongoing support that follows

• Understand why mentoring is a mandatory requirement and how it fits into your compliance obligations

• Ask any questions you have about the process, timing, cost, or what to expect

• Find out whether Gold or Platinum mentoring is the right fit for you

This session is free and open to anyone who has completed (or is completing) their finance or mortgage broking qualification and wants clarity before starting mentoring.
