Environment Day Event for Multicultural Communities

Join us in this family-friendly event celebrating World Environment Day with multicultural communities in Merri-bek and engage in conversations about everyday sustainable practices in a fun and friendly atmosphere. 

What to expect: 

• Community stalls led by local community, organisations and Council. 
• Hear from local faith leaders about sustainability in Islam and Hinduism. 
• Panel discussions with culturally diverse speakers representing various communities.
• Information on Council sustainable programs and subsidies available for community, i.e. Solar Program and Composting at Home Subsidy. 
• Children are welcome.
• Face painting and henna stalls. 
• Yum Halal lunch will be provided.
