Greenfleet Presents: The Environmental Cost of AI
Webinar 2: The Environmental Cost of AI
Measuring Impact and Taking Action
Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly woven into everyday business operations. While the responsible use of AI presents huge opportunities for productivity and innovation, the environmental impacts can’t be ignored.
As an environmental not-for-profit, Greenfleet has deeply considered how we use AI and how we can help our supporters compensate for its impact. We’ve restored native forests for nearly 30 years and know that AI technologies could transform how we monitor, protect and survey the forests we grow. However, we need to use AI responsibly and we want to enable other organisations to do the same.
Following on from our webinar 'The AI Governance Challenge', we'll dive deeper into the environmental cost of AI in part two of our responsible AI webinar series.
Join Annabel O'Neill, Deputy CEO, Greenfleet, and Cool Planet General Manager, Jon Owen, and Head of Operations, Darcy Clarke, for a discussion about how to measure your organisation’s AI footprint, including practical steps for mitigating your impact, and learn about the methodology behind our AI ImpactCover offering.
Hosted by Rebecca Peake, General Mamager Marketing and Engagement, Greenfleet, the conversation will be followed by the opportunity for questions.
