Help us shape our future - share your views on what is needed to help the sport and physical activity sector accelerate action on environmental sustainability, at this online focus group.

Sport England, sportscotland, and Sport Wales are carrying out a sector-wide consultation on environmental sustainability, that comprises of focus groups, interviews, and a grassroots survey.

The focus groups are primarily intended for National Governing Bodies and “umbrella organisations” (also referred to as system partners / associations / alliances / member organisations). They are also applicable to Local Authorities, and the owners and operators of the places and spaces where physical activity happens, both indoors and outdoors. Sports sector sustainability experts are also welcome.

This 1.5 hour interactive focus group will take place online, to share and discuss your insights on three key aspects: current actions, challenges, and support needed. We will use a combination of discussion sessions and Miro (an online whiteboard), to capture as many views as possible. Please contact kate.b@usefulprojects.co.uk if you have any accessibility accommodations you would like us to make for you.

The findings from this focus group will be used to inform and shape the future of environmental sustainability support for the grass roots sports and physical activity sector.

This consultation is being delivered by Useful Projects, a sustainability consultancy. As a B Corp™ and Social Enterprise, they are a purpose-driven organisation on a mission to create environmental and social benefits.
