Join us for an engaging workshop on weed identification and control, specifically for the Bellingen Shire. This hands-on session will equip you with essential skills to recognise invasive plant species and implement effective bush regeneration techniques. Learn from Brent Hely a local Bush Regenerator who works with Bellingen Shire Council and Landcare about sustainable practices that promote native biodiversity and enhance the health of our unique ecosystems. This workshop will be held at a current regeneration site in Urunga and will include a short walk through the site
Whether you're a land manager, gardener, or nature enthusiast, this workshop is perfect for anyone looking to make a positive impact on their local environment.
This event is in a vegetated site, please wear appropriate clothing/shoes and be prepared for sun or rain. Bring your water.
Meet at eastern end of Hillside Drive / Railway St, Urunga on open grassed area adjacent to the reserve.
