EnviroPAST 2024 Ōtautahi
Event description
EnviroPAST(Plastic And Sustainability Talks) is back in Ōtautahi for 2024! After spending a couple of years up north, we're excited to bring back EnviroPAST as an interactive forum, where you'll hear from sustainability experts and share your own wisdom and experiences with others.
This year's forum is themed around transport and urban development. Over two days, we'll explore how we can create better cities that are friendlier to the environment. You'll hear from leading speakers, participate in hands-on workshops, feed into government work through a climate cafe, and complete practical volunteer work in the Ōtautahi community. You'll also meet other young people who share your enthusiasm for sustainability and protecting Te Taiao.
What's even better is that the forum is fully funded, so there's no cost to attend! Your place at EnviroPAST includes access to all of the forum, all workshop materials, and catered lunches and breaks (yum!).
EnvrioPAST is a programme run by P.S. Our Beaches, a registered charity. To learn more about the forum, head over to www.enviropast.com.
What past EnviroPAST attendees say:
"The speakers had exciting, interesting, inspiring, or poignant things to talk about which completely engaged the
audience. There were a lot more highlights (such as free stuff, discounts on hot chocolates...) but I think most
importantly, the conference had a very important message that was sent across extremely well. I can't describe the
emotions it made me feel afterwards and the sense of need to change."
"My highlight was being able to surround myself with like-minded people. It was so cool to hear about how everyone wanted to play their part in changing the world."
