Are you interested in Towards a Better Life: Introduction to Social Role Valorization (SRV) - 4 Sessions- ONLINE or 2 Sessions IN PERSON
About this Workshop:Â
Learn a framework that helps give meaning and depth and helps to make the most of contemporary opportunities! This workshop explores how getting valued roles can lead to changed societal perceptions and strengthen the likelihood that people with a devalued status will get a better life.
The core themes and principles of SRV will be explored through presentations, exercises and discussions. Completion allows entry to the 5 day practicum, PASSING.
Who Should Attend:
This workshop is designed for participants from a range of sectors (disability, aged care, mental health, youth etc). This will include support workers, coordinators, family members, people with disabilities, people with a mental illness and older people receiving services. Participants will be people who are
looking for ways of meeting the real needs of marginalised people, resulting in a better lives.

- 4 Sessions online or 2 Sessions in person. Must be able to attend all four sessions for the full time of each.
