EPA Community Information Session - Veolia WRRF Development Licence
Event description
Veolia Recycling and Recovery Pty Ltd (Veolia) has applied for a development licence from EPA for a waste and resource recovery facility at the Hampton Park Resource Recovery Precinct at 290 Hallam Road, Hampton Park VIC 3976. A development licence allows for design, construction and modification stages of a project. It does not approve ongoing operations, which are subject to a separate operating licence. We value your input and are keen to hear your thoughts or concerns regarding the potential risks to human health and the environment associated with the proposed facility.
We will be hosting a number of drop-in community sessions where you can find out more information about EPA’s assessment process and ask questions about this development licence application. Veolia staff will also be there to answer any of your questions about their proposal.
You can drop by at any time during the session and you only need to attend one session.
If you are unable to attend or have questions before or after the sessions, you can submit them to us using the Q&A function on the EngageVic webpage.
