EPGS's 33rd Annual Research Night

Join us for an evening filled with exciting innovative research at The College of Physicians of Philadelphia. This in-person event will showcase the latest advancements in various fields. This program is open to physician, NP, nursing, social work, physical therapy, occupational therapy, public health as well as fields related to geriatrics or palliative care. Don't miss this opportunity to network with fellow researchers.

Presentation Criteria & Prizes:

Graduate students are invited to share their original research during a five (5) minute presentation using four (4) Power Point slides. See below for more details.

Submission deadline: May 30, 2025

There will be three main prizes awarded based upon the following factors:

1. New knowledge gained or the timeliness of the scholarship topic

2. Effective design of the project

3. Communication skills of the presenter in identifying the salient points to a varied audience

4. The potential to positively impact the practice of geriatrics/gerontology

Prizes:

First Prize: a $100 gift card

Second Prize: a $75 gift card

Third Prize: a $50 gift card

**All presenters will be formally acknowledged for their participation.

Overall Presentation Style: Power Point presentation with a brief question and answer period following your talk

Total Presentation Time per Presenter: Please limit your presentation to five (5) minutes in order to allow questions from the audience

Power Point Presentation Guidelines: All presenters should limit their slide decks to 6 (six) slides including 1 (one) title slide; 1 (one) resource slide; 1 (one) methods slide; two (2) results slide and the final slide consisting of your contact information. Please limit the background and methods slides to no more than ten (10) lines of text; For the results slide, please use no more than one (1) figure or table per slide with no more than five (5) lines of text per slide associated with the table or figure Please place the references at the bottom of each slide.
