Epiclesis - The Four Step Retreat

Do you want to feel the presence of God in your life? Join us for the 2024 Epiclesis retreat and encounter Jesus through the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.

'Epiclesis', describes the moment in the Eucharistic Prayer where the Holy Spirit is invoked to change the bread and wine into the Body and Blood of Christ. Just as the Holy Spirit overshadowed the Virgin Mary at the Annunciation, so too we seek the overshadowing of the Holy Spirit so that Christ may live in us.

The speakers for this years retreat are Br Lalith Perera (founder of the Risen Lord Community), and Tomasz Juszczak (founder of Donum Ministries), who will provide insight and opportunities to deepen our spiritual life so that we can be more effective instruments of God in sharing our faith with others. There will also be opportunities to sit with the Lord and receive His love through Eucharistic Adoration and Confession.

Further details on the event are as follows:

Saturday 12 October: 9:30 am - 5:30 pm (including midday Mass)
Sunday 13 October: 1:30 pm - 5:30 pm (Sunday Mass is not included in the program. Participants are encouraged to attend their regular Sunday Mass)

Where: Our Lady of Victories Shrine, 12 Ashbolt Cresent, Lutana TAS 7009

Registration: This is a free event. Please bring a plate to share for lunch on Saturday. Tea, coffee, and light refreshments will be provided.
