Equine Assisted Psychology in Practice

Event description

There is often curiosity and speculation about how psychologists offer Equine Assisted Therapies whilst practicing within the bounds of our regulating and funding bodies.

Sue and Anna have been delivering Equine Assisted therapies for many years in their respective psychology practices. During this interactive 90 minute webinar Sue and Anna will share their journey of venturing into the paddock with a focus on how they conceptualise and operationalise Equine Assisted Therapy within the parameters of our peak governing bodies and primary funding agencies.

This webinar is intended as an overview rather than a deep dive and will cover common areas of concern, such as the efficacy, validity and professional risk management in the context of Equine Assisted Psychology.

Objectives: Gain an understanding of how 2 successful psychology practices have conceptualised and operationalised the practice of Equine Assisted therapies.
