As we celebrate 10 years of training, practice and professional leadership in equine-assisted mental health, we warmly invite you to join us for a special two-and-a-half day conference.

This event will bring together students, practitioners and mental health professionals from across Australia and overseas for learning, workshops and connection.

You can expect thought-provoking keynote presentations from leaders in the equine-assisted mental health field, along with experiential and reflective workshops designed to deepen practice and insight.

We will have informative panel discussions about ethical, horse-centred practice and the ongoing evolution of our profession.

This is more than a conference - it is a celebration of the powerful partnerships between humans and horses that continue to shape our work in mental health.

We are holding this conference at the beautiful Selah Valley Estate in the Tweed Valley, Northern NSW. There is a wide range of accommodation onsite, from modern cabins and lodges to glamping and camping facilities.

Jenn Pagone

Jenn is the creator of the IFS with Equine Engagement Facilitation Model called Equid-Nexus®, which is based upon Internal Family Systems (IFS) informed Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and is focused on healing relational trauma through memory reconsolidation. Jenn is a trainer for the IFS Institute and the Syzygy Institute and is an approved EMDR Consultant. She has specialized in treating women with complex trauma for 20 years.

Refund policy

Ticketing, Refund & Cancellation Policy Attendance capped at 100 guests. 1. Ticket Purchases • All tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. • Tickets are confirmed only once full payment has been received (via Humanitix) • Early Bird pricing ends at 11:59pm on 30 June 2026. 2. Refund Policy (Attendee-Initiated) As this is a limited-capacity event with significant upfront venue and supplier commitments, refunds are available under the following conditions: Refunds Available: • Full refund (minus third-party booking fees) if cancellation is requested more than 30 days prior to the event start date (before August 22, 2026). No Refunds: • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 30 days of the event. • We are unable to offer refunds due to change of mind, personal circumstances, travel or accommodation issues, or personal illness (including COVID or similar conditions). We strongly recommend attendees consider travel insurance to protect their plans. 3. Ticket Transfers • Tickets may be transferred to another person up to 7 days prior to the event. • The original ticket holder is responsible for finding the replacement attendee and ensuring the new attendee meets any event requirements. • Transfer requests must be submitted in writing and confirmed by the organiser. • No transfer fees apply. • Transferred tickets are not eligible for refund. 4. Event Cancellation or Postponement (Organiser-Initiated) If the event is cancelled by the organiser: • All ticket holders will receive a full refund of the ticket price. • Third-party booking fees may be non-refundable. • The organiser is not responsible for additional costs incurred by attendees, including flights, accommodation, travel expenses, or loss of income. If the event is postponed: • Tickets will automatically transfer to the new date. • If the new date is unsuitable, attendees may request a full refund within 14 days of the new date being announced. 5. Program & Speaker Changes • The organiser reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the program and substitute speakers if necessary. • Changes to speakers or scheduling do not qualify for a refund, provided the event proceeds as scheduled. 6. Force Majeure The organiser is not liable for cancellation, delay, or changes due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, government restrictions, or public health emergencies. In such circumstances, refund or credit options will be assessed in line with this policy and applicable Australian law. 7. Attendance & Conduct • The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or inconsistent with the values of the event. • No refunds will be issued in these circumstances. 8. Acceptance of Terms By purchasing a ticket, attendees agree to this Ticketing, Refund & Cancellation Policy and any additional terms outlined on the event website or ticketing platform.
