Join this online program to INSPIRE + EQUIP more women to run for public office in Australia

Cost: $45

So you’re running for election or have attended our EQUIP program and are looking to learn MORE?

The Women for Election Australia online Masterclass Series is a highly practical non-partisan program that provides women with the key knowledge on key topics relating to how to campaign at all levels of government.

Without a doubt social media and political campaigning have become inseparable, with many constituents using social media to stay in touch with political discourse. Being able to expand your message and audience through social media and marketing as well as stay in touch with voters and public opinion is so important in today’s modern-day debate arena.

Navigating social media and marketing strategies can be tricky within the political sphere. Join Kate and Lyndsey to explore how you can best develop your online image and public account.

Lyndsey Long is an accomplished digital leader with over 15 years’ experience across a broad range of industry sectors including government, arts, tourism, retail, health, finance, and not for profits. She has extensive expertise leading transformational digital strategies and driving growth, and for the last four years worked at an award-winning content agency developing audience-led content strategies for a range of Australian brands. Lyndsey has a genuine passion for fulfilling a shared vision through people, creativity, and technology.

Kate Scott is an award-winning brand, content and marketing strategist who has spent her career driving ambitious growth and transformation at some of Australia’s leading arts companies. Over the past 15 years, Kate has collaborated with digital specialists, photographers, graphic designers, filmmakers, artists, publicists, web developers, data analysts, copywriters and fundraisers to produce and amplify outstanding digital content. She spent much of 2020 doing pro-bono work for Women for Election Australia and passionately shares their vision for empowering more women of all backgrounds and lived experiences to stand for public office.

Women support their communities in so many ways. From running school P&C’s and local sports competitions, to establishing businesses and community campaigns and co-ordinating drought and bushfire relief for neighbours. These leadership skills are highly transferable to elected Public Office, where your work can then extend to helping groups within, and beyond, your immediate community.

We need more women like you at the table where decisions are being made; at all levels of government.

This session will run for 90 minutes. You will need: a computer, access to reliable wifi and social media, a headset and a ‘get elected’ attitude.

Secure your spot now… limited to only 50 people. Register for this event to take part in this increasingly important conversation.

Please note your zoom link will be sent 2 hours before the event and that this event will not be recorded.
