Step into the captivating world of acoustic brilliance with Matt Arthur and The Lazybones as they pay tribute to Eric Clapton’s legendary “Unplugged” album. Matt’s interpretation of Clapton’s timeless classics like “Tears In Heaven” and “Layla” will leave you spellbound, whether you’re a die-hard Clapton fan or simply a lover of acoustic music. Matt and his Lazybones band will also include some of Clapton’s greatest hits in this show as well.

Matt, a musician whose journey began at the age of 8, has evolved into a soulful vocalist and a masterful guitarist. Hailing from the Central West of NSW, he’s become a musical cornerstone of the region, enchanting audiences with his exceptional talents.

In 2018, Matt proudly released his debut solo album, “On Their Shoulders”, garnering acclaim for his acoustic covers of his favourite artists like Eric Clapton, Keb Mo, John Hiatt, and Bill Withers. Like most artists, 2020 brought unexpected changes, as Matt’s plans to tour were derailed by the pandemic. However, this setback turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as Matt rekindled his passion for original music, resulting in the 2023 release of his first original album, “Then & Now”. With the expert production of Rolling Wheel Studios, this album offers engrossing and intriguing songs that reflect on Matt’s past and present, making it a must-have for guitar enthusiasts and fans of blues music.

Matt will be joined on stage with his band, The Lazybones. Sam McNally on keys, Michael Vidale on bass, and Dave Egan on drums.

Take the opportunity to experience Matt Arthur’s musical evolution and the brilliance of his musicianship. Matt’s tribute to “Unplugged” and Eric Clapton is a show you don’t want to miss.
