ESCAPE: The Ultimate Journey Tribute Comes to The Bornemann

Get ready to Don’t Stop Believin’! On Saturday, February 6, 2027, ESCAPE The Journey Tribute Band will have their debut at the Bornemann, bringing the soaring vocals, unforgettable melodies, and arena-rock energy of classic Journey to San Marcos.

Since 1996, ESCAPE has built a reputation for faithfully capturing the excitement of a live Journey concert. This incredible band brings together seasoned California musicians and delivers its performances 100% live, with no backing tracks, recreating the powerful sound and energy that made Journey one of rock’s most enduring bands.

Chad Smith will take center stage as the band’s lead vocalist. Known for his powerful vocals, stage presence, and acclaimed portrayal of Steve Perry, Smith is recognized for bringing the unmistakable sound and spirit of Perry to life.

Expect a night packed with the songs that defined an era—from “Lights” and “Lovin’, Touchin’, Squeezin’” to “Open Arms,” “Separate Ways,” “Faithfully,” “Any Way You Want It,” and, of course, “Don’t Stop Believin’.”
