In this poetry workshop, award-winning poet Jazz Money will lead writers through a wide range of prompts to create new poetry based in place and memory. With the structure of the workshop based around reading, listening and looking, Jazz will help you coax out the poems that inhabit our memories.
Suitable for poets at all stages of their writing practice.
This workshop will be held online on Zoom.
About your facilitator:
Jazz Money is a Wiradjuri poet and artist who works across installation, publishing, digital, performance and film. Jazz is the author of two award winning poetry collections how to make a basket (UQP, 2021) and mark the dawn (UQP, 2024), and the director of the feature film WINHANGANHA (NFSA, 2023).
This workshop is presented by Enough Said Poetry Slam.
