Essence Life Drawing - Makeup Art LONG POSE 1.0 !

One pose - 20 min intervals - 4 intervals

Sooky Layla is back with more Dark Circus vibes to bring you our very first long pose session. This is your opportunity to take your time in a slow-paced environment. Work on your skills or create a finished artwork to be exhibited. You have the option to focus on the makeup art and create a portrait or do a full figure piece. It’s totally up to you!

All art supplies are welcome but no aerosol is to be used inside. When sealing your artwork please do it in the Honey Bones court yard.

As always you are more than welcome to use the art supplies provided in session but we recommend bringing your favourite materials with you to enable yourself to flourish.

Our models pick their own themes and the artists are encouraged to collaborate between each other if they are inspired to do so. 
The more we work together, the more possibilities we can discover for the life drawing community. 
We can’t wait to see what everyone creates next.
No pressure ! All skill levels are welcome. Let’s have some fun.


We are working towards having easels in session so please reach out if you have any ideas of where we can source some affordably or you have one to donate. Otherwise there is plenty of table space available. Get in early to have the most options with seating and positioning.

Feel free to bring your own easel if you have a portable one.

Unlike the usual monthly events we will not have a DJ or cocktails. Instead we are investing in makeup artists and reference image photography. We will have themed background music playing and basics available at the Honey Bones bar.

Both sessions are very different from each other as we would like to cater towards different artists interests and abilities.

Essence Life Drawing runs twice a month at Honey Bones Gallery where we hope to offer a unique experience. 

Our vision is to provide the models and artists as much creative freedom as possible in an inclusive space.

We do not tolerate any anti-social behaviour.
