Essential Insights: 2025 Policy Wrap Up

DASSH is pleased to announce a series of practical webinars called Essential Insights. Designed to deliver members pragmatic, hands-on insights and advice across a range of spotlighted topics that preoccupy us all.

Each webinar will be 50 minutes in total. This includes a 20-minute presentation and 30-minutes for open discussion and questions.

Each session is scheduled for midday so please feel free to bring your lunch!

This session will provide an opportunity to reflect on the key policy shifts and initiatives that shaped the higher education landscape through 2025. We'll explore how developments have influenced our strategic directions and institutional responses. Join us for a concise overview of the most significant Australian higher education policy developments of 2025.

Professor Lori Lockyer, DASSH Secretary, Executive Dean of the Faculty of Creative Industries, Education and Social Justice at the Queensland University of Technology will lead this session.

This session will be chaired by Professor James Verdon, Executive Dean Social Sciences, Media, Film and Education at Swinburne University of Technology.
