Psychosocial Safety and Wellbeing
12pm-1pm (AEST)
Wednesday 16 April

The final day of the 2024 DASSH Conference was dedicated to a session titled: “Healthy work environments in a sector under pressure”. Presentations provided insights about how universities are faring in relation to providing healthy and satisfying workplaces and the structural drivers of upward bullying. This session continues the conversation with a focus on what we as leaders might consider as we go about the work of co-creating enabling workplaces. Informed by the evidence base developed by our cohort of conference presenters, the session aims to canvas practical strategies on creating a psychosocially safe environment. You will also be invited into conversation – so please come along prepared to participate.

Professor Paula Geldens, DASSH Board member Executive Dean, University of South Australia Justice and Society will lead the discussion on Psychosocial Safety and Wellbeing.

This session will be chaired by Professor Deborah Gare, DASSH Treasurer, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Law, Arts and Social Sciences at Murdoch University.
