Explanation: Creating a by-name list of everyone sleeping rough in your community is a central part of efforts to end homelessness, but how do you create one, what do you need to do to ensure you are accurately assessing who is entering your homelessness system on an ongoing basis, and how do you know if the data you are collecting is accurate.
To answer these and many other questions, we’ve created a checklist, or scorecard, to help your community not just establish a by-name list, but ensure that it is a quality list that can be relied upon to help make informed decisions about prioritisation and providing permanent housing to those who need it.Â
This session will explain the scorecard and its various components including for example how to better understand the needs of certain populations of interest, including veterans, individuals fleeing domestic violence, and those experiencing chronic homelessness.Â

Audience: People from any communities with an interest in using the scorecard. A basic understanding of the Advance to Zero Homelessness methodology will be important for participants in this training session.Â
