FREE: Establishing and running a successful Youth Advisory Group - In Person

This workshop will help youth and community sector workers develop a strong understanding how to set up and maintain a best-practice youth advisory group. In this workshop, attendees will learn:

• What a Youth Advisory Group is and the different reasons that motivate young people to join

• How to recruit and attract a diversity of young people to their group

• How to explore the skills of the young people involved, as well as maximise and develop those skills

• What makes a great Youth Advisory Group and pitfalls to avoid

• Strategies for embedding decision making within the organisation

This workshop will include light catering.
