Thinking about applying for an Empire Times editorial role in 2027, but not quite sure what it involves yet?

This online info session is for students who want to learn more before submitting an Expression of Interest. You’ll hear about the editor roles, what kind of work is involved, how the magazine is produced, and what support is available throughout the year.

You do not need to have edited a magazine before. This session is designed to demystify the process, answer common questions, and help you decide whether you’d like to take the next step.

This session may be useful if you’re interested in writing, editing, art, design, student media, publishing, communications, culture, criticism, community projects, or just making something interesting with other students.
