Dance Mission x SF MOMA x Sir JoQ present
ETERNAL ECHOES II — THE KIKI BALL

A Vogue Love Letter to San Francisco Queer Pioneers
Curated by Sir JoQ

Thursday, Oct 22, 6-9pm
At SFMOMA, Roberts Family Gallery
151 Third Street, SF

Free and open to all ages! (Note, if the event is sold out, a reservation does not guarantee admission.)

Eternal Echoes is a celebration, remembrance, and honoring of the Queer pioneers, artists, nightlife visionaries, activists, performers, and cultural shapeshifters that built the spirit of San Francisco. Rooted in Ballroom culture and inspired by the city’s legacy of radical self-expression, liberation, nightlife, performance, and chosen family, this Kiki Ball bridges generations through movement, fashion, music, and storytelling.

This event serves as both a celebration and archival experience — honoring the echoes of those who paved the way while uplifting the future of queer artistry in the SF Bay Area.

Evening includes an immersive and musical experience, opening ceremony, live band, and drag performances by San Francisco’s legendary drag and nightlife pioneers, before transitioning to the Kiki Ball competition.

Interested in competing or just curious to learn more about Vogue balls?
Then we encourage you to attend a Monday night workshop Sept 14-Oct 12 at 8pm at Dance Mission to learn Old Way Vogue, New Way, Femme, Runway, Hands, and more!   (Register for classes and find out more here.)

This project is supported by Dance Mission, SFMOMA, SFAC, and HRC.
