Event description

Our Brunswick Ethical Fashion Walking Tour will give you a behind-the-scenes insight into some of the Melbourne’s most beloved and innovative ethical clothing brands. Led by slow fashion advocate Jenna Flood (@ironicminimalist), experience the local independent fashion scene in an intimate setting.

Stops on the tour

  • Visit the new REMUSE Designs studio space, where futurism meets nature. Meet designer and owner Tamara Leacock and hear how she uses artisan techniques and low-impact dye technology to make one-of-a-kind garments fit for the runway and your wardrobe.
  • Check out the new Clothing the Gaps flagship store, home to the iconic Aboriginal-owned and led social enterprise. You will hear the story of the streetwear brand and how they are using fashion as a platform for change.
  • Take a visit through Brunswick’s textile past and present at Otto and Spike, where ethical manufacturing meets timeless design. This family-run business has been proudly knitting in Brunswick since 1969, and has become a staple favourite for locals and overseas fans alike.

Grab your water bottle, your walking shoes, your tote bag and join us to celebrate ethical fashion!
