Ethnic Communities Council of Queensland - 50th Anniversary Celebration

For five decades, ECCQ has played a central role in advancing multiculturalism, championing the voices of culturally and linguistically diverse communities, and strengthening partnerships across government, community, and the broader sector. This anniversary is not only a celebration of our history, it is an opportunity to recognise the collective leadership, advocacy, and collaboration that continue to shape a more inclusive Queensland.

The evening will bring together community and sector leaders, government representatives, community organisations, and longstanding partners to reflect on shared achievements, recognise the contributions that have shaped our state over the past 50 years, and to look ahead to the future.  

This milestone reflects ECCQ’s ongoing commitment to an inclusive and equitable Queensland, where all people can contribute and thrive.
