What is Yin yoga?
The simple answer is, Yin Yoga is a slow, gentle practice where poses are held for several minutes. It targets the deep connective tissues of the body, especially the fascia. Fascia is the web-like tissue that surrounds our muscles and organs. By holding
poses for longer, Yin Yoga helps to gently stretch and hydrate the fascia, improving flexibility, releasing tension, and supporting overall joint and tissue health.
My Yin yoga classes are a warm, safe space to just be. Most poses are low on the mat or in seated positions. These movements and poses are slow, passive and soft as we surrender. We will move through a nourishing yin class together.
Whether you need to slow down, bring more balance to a busy life, or align with the calm of the cooler seasons, this intentional pause offers the perfect chance to reconnect with yourself and feel grounded.
Yin Yoga is a practice I deeply value. It helps you slow down, listen to your body and find stillness within. It's a gentle way to calm your mind and body and open your heart, creating space for a grounded, peaceful presence.
Everyone is welcome no matter your experience.
